Polyxo.com was created on a Dell Dimension 8300 running a Pentium IV at 2.8 GHz, with 1GB of RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 video card, and Windows XP and on a Dell Inspiron 5000 running a Pentium III 600MHz, with 128 MB SDRAM, and an ATI Rage Mobility-P video card (8MB) and Windows 98.

The site was marked up with Allaire's HomeSite 4.5.1. The Hypertext Markup Language used in the documents at Polyxo.com was validated with the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) HTML Validation Service. Accessibility was checked with CAST's Bobby Worldwide. Hypertext links within the documents were checked with Xenu's Link Sleuth. Brian Apps's handy Sizer was used to quickly check the site's layout at a variety of resolutions.

The squareheaded characters populating the title graphic and the navigation graphics are derived (not surprisingly) from Squareheads, a true type font from PizzaDude. The text in the various images is set in Jinky, a true type font by Patrick Broderick of Rotodesign. The images were created with Adobe's Photoshop 6.0. Most of the digital photographs were taken with my ancient Sony Mavica FD-7 camera.
